Dr. Quraishi is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care. She treats medical eye diseases and performs eye surgery, with expertise in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and blepharoplasty.
Born and raised in the western Chicago suburbs, Dr. Quraishi graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program at Loyola University prior to matriculation at Northwestern University, where she obtained her Doctorate of Medicine. She completed post-graduate medical training with an internship in internal medicine at Louis Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Health systems in Detroit. Her training at a busy high level trauma hospital provides her experience with complex cases and she has proctored residents at Loyola’s annual symposium. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and Women in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Quraishi enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level. She is committed to the highest quality patient care and serving the community. She strives to help her surgical patients achieve spectacle independence by employing the latest technology in cataract surgery with implants for astigmatism correction, multifocality and extended depth of focus. In addition, having worked at one of Chicagoland’s busiest laser cataract centers, she is skilled at utilizing femtosecond laser assistance technology to achieve precise surgical results.
